Pretty in Pink

This is my creation for my daughter's 14th birthday.  The cake was a pink and white ribbon cake to match the outside.  This was quite a task and it took quite a time to finish the cake including the roses.  I enjoyed very much making this cake, since it has been a long time I've done some thing like this.  This is one of my hobbies, creating cakes like these and experimenting on desserts that I have not made. 

It is 10.41p.m. and I just got done baking a bunch of cakes for my daughter's 14th birthday cake.  She want's a fondant covered cake with pink roses.  So tomorrow will be my bigger task,  frosting and making the roses.  So long until then.
